A 24-hour comic "Metal Fatigue" is a 24-hour comic that I did in anticipation of the San Diego Comic-Con. I bent some of the rules as laid out by Scott McCloud, but it did get done in 24 hours. It was a challenge, and a lot of fun. Upon completion of the work, I printed it up at Kinko's (with a swanky card-stock cover and all) and distributed a few dozen copies of the book at the con. But now, of course, thanks to the miracle of modern vacuum cleaner technology, "Metal Fatigue" is online for you, and several starving participants in the Somalian "Head Start" program, to peruse at your leisure. Please click on the main image above to read the entire 19-page story. Thanks! And please do e-mail me if you actually make it all the way through to let me know what you think. |

Kudos on your mini comic-- You know AH LOVES THE ROBOTS!
--Mike Allred,
It cracks me up still. It's kind of claustrophobically funny, which is the best kind of funny right after Benny Hill funny.

One of the best 24 hour comics I've ever read.
