Katy-Do Hentai @ ape.com Ashcan #1 Here it is, hot off the presses. In exclusively short supply, but hey -- I can always go back to Kinko's. This is the Katy-Do Hentai ashcan created expressly for the purposes of having something to akwardly give to other humans at APE 2000. Lovingly printed at half-legal size, this luxuriously stapled ashcan features the first ever appearance of the already classic story, "Katy-Do Hentai's E! True Hollywood Nightmare." Additionally, there's some other stuff in there, like a hastily written text introduction, and a terrific piece of pin-up art by my good friend, "Mad" Matt Pasteris. On top of all that, you absolutely must see the rad arcade-era cover illustration which, by cleverly incorporating the APE logo into its design, proves that Katy-Do Hentai comics are both an aesthetic pleasure and a marketing juggernaut to be reckoned with.

Vox Pop #1 Vox Pop #1, a student publication of Dartmouth College, is a comic book anthology that features Katy-Do Hentai in her first appearances. "Katy-Do Hentai Gets Stoned," "Katy-Do Hentai vs. The Bank," and "Hello World: The Secret Origin of Katy-Do Hentai" first saw print in this issue. Additionally, Katy appears on the cover's jam piece and shows up all by herself in a full-color back cover graphic. Unfortunately, Vox Pop #1 is in really limited supply. If you absolutely must have it for some arcane reason, e-mail me. Maybe we can work out a trade. It doesn't have to be comics. Old Transformer or Voltron toys, Sanrio, New Wave pins and buttons, cool stickers, back issues of "Creem," whatever. Weird stuff is good stuff. In the meantime, check out the now defunct Vox Pop web site, preserved here for posterity, just to see how much fun we had putting this comic book together.
